Abstract
Modeling and restraint treatment of the tower crane's jib are presented. Based on this method, ANSYS is used to analyze the stability of the QTZ630 tower crane's jib and characteristic value under the typical operating mode of jib is gotten. This achievement can simulate the actual conditions and analyze the stability of the tower crane in the design process. This method is guiding and useful to the design of tower crane.
