Abstract
Objective To investigate the serum content of HGF and the expression of c-Met in cervical cancer. Methods Levels of the serum HGF was determined by Elsa and expression of c-Met was determined by immunohistochemistry in 15 cases with normal cervix,12 cases CINⅠand CINⅡ,15 cases CIN Ⅲ and 71 cases cervical cancer. Results The concentration of serum HGF in cervical cancer which was 458 pg/ml was significantly higher than normal cervix and CIN ( P0.05) .Expression of c-Met in cervical cancer which was 52.1% was higher than that in normal cervix and CIN ( P0.05) .The relation of the levels of the serum HGF and the expression of c-Met in cervical cancer is positive ( P0.05) .Conclusions HGF/c-Met may become a diagnosis target of cervical cancer. The higher serum content of HGF and positive expression of c-Met may play important role in infiltrating and the transfer process of cervical cancer.
