Abstract
According to the vibration happened in rolling process of 1780 tandem rollong mill,the spring and mass model is established. The dynamic analysis is carried out by using software ANSYS,the modal parameters of mill-stand are calculated.The movement directions of top and bottom work roll are opposite in the 2nd,3rd and 6th order modal shape,the frequency of 2nd order modal shape is 124.62 Hz,which is consistent with the vibration characteristics of third harmonic frequency,and easy to form rolling thickness fluctuations. This research provides a new idea for dynamic analysis on mill-stand system.
