On formal aesthetics and literary form

Professional study of literary motif is not disregard of the form but is able to clarify its meaning. There are two important reasons that Writings are meant to convey truth and misunderstanding of the category which leads to neglect literary form. Not only is it possible but also necessary to establish formal aesthetics, which will certainly open up a wider world of literary studies.
