Abstract

In this paper,some strongly base-paracompact space's equivalent characterizations are obtained:If X is regular space,the following are equivalent:(1)X is strongly base-paracompact;(2)there is an open basis B for X with |B|=ω(X) such that every open cover of X has a star-finite refinement by the closure of members of B;(3)there is a open basis B for X with |B|=ω(X) such that every open cover of X has a star-countable open refinement by members of B.
