Abstract
The notion of S-weak paracompact is introduced and the following results are mainly proved;(1) If(X,J)is a S-weak paracompact T_2-space,then for every closed subset A of X and x■A,there exist U ∈Jand V∈SO(X,J) such that x∈U,A∈V and U∩V =φ;(2) If(X,J~α) is S-weak paracompact then(X,J) is S-weak paracompact;(3) Let(X,J) be a extremely disconnected T_2-space.Then(X,J) is S-weak paracompact if and only if each open coverV of X has a locally finite regular-closed refinement V,V∈RC(X,J)
