Abstract

With the rapid progress of social information,the information industry(IT) has become the pillar industry of a country.IT's rise and fall decide the change of the whole economy.Being a part of economy,IT has important influence on the growth of economy.This paper analyzes the function of our country's information industry in real economic growth from 1991 to 2003,using time sequence economic measuring method and it improves that information industry has Granger influence on GDP growth.
