Abstract
According to the co-integration theory and China's annual data of 1991-2011,the paper makes a co-integration test and Granger causality test on the relationship between China information industry and economic growth, and establishes a corresponding error correction model. The results show that there is a long-term stable equilibrium relationship between information industry and economic growth in China. However the equilibrium relationship is of the low capability for self-correction of the current non-equilibrium error. The information industry development is the Granger cause of the economic growth, but the economic growth does not constitute the Granger cause of the information industry development.
