Abstract
By scanning electron microscopic observation of the pheromone secnetory gland of female and the antennae of male moth for Malacosoma rectifascia Lajonquere, this study showed that the gland was an modified intersegmental membrane as a eversible ring of glandular epithelium between 8th and 9th abdominal segments and antennal sensilla was sensillum trichodeum. The study of sex pheromone communication system will help to quickly extract, analyze and synthesize the pheromone of Malacosoma rectifascia Lajonquere.
