Abstract
Objective To establish a method for microcystins in water by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Methods Ultra high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry combining with solid phase extraction has been employed to enhance the accuracy in the determination of microcystins, such as microcystin-LR.Results The detection limits was 0.04 μg/L,the linear range was 10-1 000 μg/L,average recovery rate was 97.20%,average RSD was 4.71%.Conclusion The results show that the rapid, accurate and sensitive method is suitable for analyzing and monitoring microcystins in water.
