Abstract
Objective:Study the characteristics of S.avermitilis Y20 and obtain high avermectin producing strains.Method:The types of colony and fermentation properties were studied with using S avermitilis Y20 as original strain. The mutagenesis methods are using UV,HNO 3 and NTG to treat S.avermitilis Y20 and using L-Ile as inducer.Result:The high avermectin producing strain H336 with avermectin titer up to 852 μg/mL was obtained. Conclusion:The mutant fermentation products are stable and the avermectin product is more than 10 times compared with original strain.
