Abstract

Hu Shi′ s view on writings in vernacular is important base of the May 4th literature concept,which is not only vehicle of reforming old literature and constructing new literature,but also has significant value of initiating thought of reevaluating all values.It has far-reaching influence on reform of Chinese modern literature and development and historical course of ideology reform.
