Abstract
[Objective] The water content,pH and the pollution of heavy metal in vegetable soils in Qilihe and Xigu District of Lanzhou City,Gansu Province were studied to provide the reference for the environmental protection and the production of green vegetable.[Method] The contents of heavy metals such as Cu,Pb,As,Zn,Cr and Ni in soil were determined and further assessed using methods combining single quality index and comprehensive quality index.[Result] The results indicated that the soil in Lanzhou City belonged to the first class, and was considered to be clean.[Conclusion] The vegetable soils in Lanzhou met the requirements of soil environment for producing green vegetable.
