Abstract

Transient signal analysis is the basis of fault detection and transient signal protection in electric power system.Wavelet transform provides a cogent math tool for transient signal analysis.Wavelet analysis has the characteristics of good localizing quality and multi-resolution response analysis at both time domain and frequency domain simultaneously,and can achieve satisfied result for signal de-noising.This paper mainly studies four common methods of de-noising of testing signal and realizes these algorithms by virtual instrument program software LabVIEW.Finally the paper compares the de-noising effect,SNR,RMS and calculating time of these methods and analyzes the results of de-noising when choosing different Wavelet.
