Abstract

In this paper, base on the basic wavelet transform knowledge and that signal and noise have different characteristics performance at different scales, combining threshold de-noising and the spatially selective de-noising of wavelet de-nosing methods, a new de-noising method based on the wavelet transform has been proposed and applied to deal with the fault recording signals which measured in the actual power system. The experiment proved that this way could remove the noise effectively and enhance the stability of the fault recording system.
