Abstract

Objective:To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of Pathogenic bacteria in urinary tract infection and provide reliable basis for diagnosis and treatment. Methods: There were 477 strains of Pathogenic bacteria have been isolated and cultured from the urine of the patients in the General Hospital of Lanzhou Military Region from 1 May 2009 to 30 April 2010 to be identified Drug resistance test conducted with KB method. Results:Of the 477 Pathogenic bacteria isolated,Gram Negative bacilli accounted for 73.2 %(349),most of them were enteric bacilli of them Escherichia coli accounted for 48.8%(233);Gram Positive cocci accounted for 19.4%(93),of them Enterococcus accounted for 13.4 %(64),Staphylococcus accounted for 5.7%(14);fungus accounted for 7.4%(35).Gram negative bacilli had the lowest resistance to Meropenem while had the highest resistance to Ampicillin;Gram positive had the lowest resistance to Vancomycin and Linezolid while had the highest resistance to Erythromycin. Conclusion:Urinary tract infection was mainly caused by the Pathogenic bacteria of Entetobacteriaceae.Different bacteria have different drug resistance rates to different antibiotics.Rational use of antibiotics was very important to control urinary tract infection.
