Abstract
Based on detail analysis of possible corrosion failure in long-distance crude oil pipelines,an appropriate applicable technology, which applies PCM(dual),DCVG,CIPS,SCM and TEM,is proposed.Cases are studied to illustrate the application of this technology. The results show that,by this technology, the corrosion and protection status of long-distance crude oil pipelines can be completely evaluated without excavation and shutdown of pipeline operation. This will help to improve the safety of the long-distance crude oil pipeline transportation and provide guidelines for pipeline maintenance, repair and replacement.
