Abstract

According to the characteristics of wetland ecosystem of the Dongting Lake Area,the effect of the leveling,wetland restorationproject upon the wetland of the Dongting Lake Area was studied.It was concluded that if polder leveling and wetland restoration was appropriate,and the project would not damage the ecosystem of the lake.On the contrary,it would protect the wetland esosystem and made the environment better.Meanwhile,some suggestion on the wetland ecosystem protection in the Dongting Lake Area were put forward.
