Antibiotic Resistance of Acinetobacter Bacteria

Objective To study the acinetobacter bacteria generation circumstances in Xuchang Area and their antibiotics resistance. Methods To collect 74 strain Acinetobacter bacteria from January 2009 to September 2009,two-paper-cooperate-test determined which one generated broad spectrum β-lactamase,Improved Hodge-test determined which one generated KPC,in addition,analyze the bacterial antibiotics resistance of those did not generate enzyme. Results In those 74 strain Acinetobacter bacteria,there were 11 strains that generated ESBLs,2 strains generated KPC,Though the rest 62 strains didn't generate enzymes,their antibiotics resistance was wide. Conclusion The antibiotics resistance of Acinetobacter bacteria is very strong because of generation of enzyme and their own character.we must attach importance to the bacteria so as to prevent their antibiotics resistance.
