Abstract

The Nanjing Ming dynasty city wall is the longest one in China. It was built naturally with the mountain and the rivers. Authors highly appreciate its historical cultural values and suggest that the complete protection must be given through legislation. Besides, the application of the wall should be presented and the landscape resources around the wall be displayed, finally makes it a green belt of the city and improve the quality of the urban sightseeing.
