Abstract
Fishery is an important part in agricultural and rural economics in China. In the last 60 years, fishery in China has achieved refulgence achievements and become an important industry in rural economics. Fishery in China has played important role in the aspects of rural economics. Author has reviewed and summarized fishery development achievements for the last 60 years, and briefly introduced the current 6 strategies of fishery development in China. Author has also proposed future fishery development strategy selections and main tasks on the basis of analysis of current and future opportunities and challenges faced in the development of fishery in China.
