Abstract
[Objective]To explore the mechanism of promoting blood flow,invigorating the spleen or invigorating the kidney recipe in the treatment of chronic ulcerative colitis mice. [Methods] BALB/C female mice were randomly divided into the normal control group,the model group,sulfasalazine(SASP) group,promoting blood flow group,invigorating the spleen group and invigorating the kidney group.The model of chronic colitis was induced by feeding with 3 % dextran sodium sulfate(DSS),The expression of NF-κBP_(65),TGF-β_1,COX-2 and their mRNA in colon tissue of chronic colitis mice after the treatment was examined by immunohistochemistry and hybridization in situ.[Results] The expression of NF-κBP_(65), COX-2 and their mRNA in colon tissue in promoting blood flow,invigorating the spleen,invigorating the kidney group was lower than that in the model group respectively(P0.05).The expression of TGF-β_1 and its mRNA in promoting blood flow,invigorating the kidney group were lower than that in the model group respectively(P0.05).[Conclusion] Promoting blood flow,invigorating the spleen,invigorating the kidney recipe could decrease the expression NF-κBP_(65),COX-2,TGF-β_1 in colon tissue of chronic colitis mice,which may be one of curative mechanisms.
