Abstract
Objective:To observe the mechanism of different traditional Chinese medicine in treating osteoporosis by investigating expression of α-KGDHC in the skeleton and skeletal muscle of osteoporosis mice.Methods:Besides the WT group,OPG knockout mice were taken as the osteoporosis model.OPG-/- mice were randomly divided into model control group(no herb inducted),invigorating kidney group,invigorating spleen group,promoting blood flow group and Fosamax group.Euzymelinked immunosorbent assay were taken to analyze the content of α-KGDHC in skeletal and muscle.Results:α-KGDHC in the muscle of model group,invigorating spleen group and promoting blood group mice shown significantly lower than the WT group(P0.01).However,the invigorating spleen group and Fosamax group's content of α-KGDHC significantly increased(P0.01).Conclusion:①The lack of α-KGDHC partially is able to get the osteoporosis.②Treatment of invigorating kidney and invigorating spleen shows effective in curing osteoporosis probably by regulating α-KGDHC in the skeleton and skeletal muscle.
