Abstract

OBJECTIVE To compare the acesodyne effect of morphine hydrochloride sustained release tables and morphine sutfate sustained release tablets on cancer patients.METHODS 36 cancer patients received the therapy with morphine hydro- chloride sustained release tablets(morphine hydrochloride-southwest pharm)and morphine sulfate sustained release tablets (morphine sulfate contine),dose was adjusted according to the control of pain and side effects.RESULTS The rate of pain re- lieving of graup A was 78% with 5 cases of complete relieving, thaty of group B was also 78%.CONCLUSION The result of this study suggest that there is no significant difference in acesodyne effect between morphine hydrocholoride sustained release tables(morphine hydrochloride-sou-thuecst)and morphine sulfate sustained release tablets(Morphine Sulfate Contine).
