Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of Bu Shen Prescription on regressing myocardial fibrosis in rat with pressure overload. Methods:The model of left ventricular remodeling in rat with pressure overload by abdominal aortic constriction was used. 60 SD male rats were randomly divided into five groups:sham operation group,model group,captopril group,Bu Shen Prescription high dosage group and low dosage group. After treatment 4 weeks,it was observed that the changes of left ventricular myocardium collagen pathological coloring,left ventricular interstitial cardiac tissue ultramicrostructure,left ventricular cardiac tissue collagen type Ⅰimmunohistochemistry coloring and collagen type Ⅲ immunohistochemistry coloring. Results:The average optic density of left ventricular cardiac tissue type Ⅰcollagen and type Ⅲ collagen of model group were increased obviously than that of sham operation group (P0.01). The average optic density of left ventricular cardiac tissue type Ⅰcollagen and type Ⅲ collagen of captopril group,Bu Shen Prescription high dosage group and low dosage group were lower than those of model group significantly(P0.01). The changes of left ventricular myocardium collagen pathological coloring and left ventricular interstitial cardiac tissue ultramicrostructure were consistent with those of typeⅠ collagen and type Ⅲ collagen. Conclusion:Bu Shen Fu Prescription and captopril had similar effects on regressing myocardial fibrosis.
