Abstract

The biological characters of Coniella diplodiella(Speg.)Petrak ﹠ Sacc were investigated. The results indicated that for pathogen growth, the optimum temperature was 25~30℃.A wide range of pH values was available for pathogen growth, the range of pH was 1~9,with the optimum pH of 3~5.PDA was a good medium for mycelia growth. The fungi growth relied on different kinds of carbon sources, and the sequence of carbon sources beneficial to pathogen growth was as follow: glucosedisaccharidepolysaccharide. The optimum carbon sources was glucose, and the sequence of nitrogen sources was as follow: inorganic Norganic N.The optimum nitrogen source was NH4Cl.Carbon source was more suitable for conidial germination of this fungus than nitrogen source.the best carbon source for conidial germination was glucose, the best nitrogen source was ammonium chloride or potassium nitrate. The range of adaptive temperature for conidial germination was 15~30℃,and the best temperature is about 25℃.The range of adaptive pH for conidial germination was pH4~6,the best pH was pH5.Alternation of light and dark was beneficial to conidial germination.
