Abstract

Through the comparision of the network management projects of the SNMP and the mobile Agent form the response-time and the communication flux in the middle of the network,this acticle points out that the advantages of the network management based on the Mobile Agent lies in: adopting the distributing-computing technique which can reduce the communication flux in the middle of the network , buildup the agility and extensibility of the network management function,overcome the localization of the SNMP and adapt to the developing and changing of the network management requirement.
