Research on SNMP network management framework based on Mobile Agents

Abstract

TheMobileAgenttechnology for distributing managementtasks can overcome limitations of centralized network management, such as expansibility, flexibility etc. This paper introduces concept of Mobile Agents, its structure and platform. Based on mobile agents a network management framework using Simple Network Management Protocol SNMP) is suggested. The system is described and evaluated. (
