Abstract

Objective To evaluate the practical value of serological tests and PCR SSP for HLA B typing.Methods PCR SSP was used for genotyping of HLA B homozygotes identified by serological tests.Result Of 75 samples of HLA B homozygotes identified by serological tests12 were found as heterozygotes by PCR SSP genotyping.Conclusions HLA B typing by PCR SSP had proved to be accurate and reliable,while the serological tests were cheap,rapid and easy to perform.
