Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of swimming on the success rate of newborn heel blood collection.Method 300 healthy newborns were divid- ed into two groups.The newborns in the control group received heel blood collection after the bath,while the newborns in the experimental group received heel blood collection after swimming.Result Compared with the control group,the success rate of heel blood collection was higher in the experimental group(P0.01).Conclusion Newborn swimming is an effective method to improve the success rate of heel blood collection.
