Abstract
The Changfulonggou gold deposit, located in the middle Daqingshan Mountains of Inner Mongolia, occurs in low metamorphic rocks of the Middle Proterozoic Zhaertai Group. The ore bodies are controlled by tectonic-altered zones of NW striking faults. The wallrock alterations of gold mineralization include silicification, pyritization, sericitization, potassic alteration, chloritization and carbonitization.According to the geological characteristics of the Changfulonggou gold deposit, the ore genesis of the deposit is tectonic-altered type.It will be potential to prospect new gold deposits, and it is important that fracture zones and altered rock assemblages in gold anormaly areas could be considered as good indicators for gold prospecting.
