Mineralization Characteristics and Vectors for Prospecting of Huashugou Gold Ore Area in Inner Mongolia

Huashugou gold deposit is located in the southern margin in the middle of north Inner Mongolia axis,Northern China Carton.Its folded metamorphic basement is composed of the Archean Jining rock groups,which is controlled by NW,NE fault fracture zone.Six gold mineralization points are found within nearly 15 km2of the mining area,such as Mujianggou,Huashugou and other gold points,the main part of which is the structural altered rock type with others Quartz vein rocks type.Based on introducing the ore-forming geological background and characteristics of geophysical and geochemical anomalies,we mainly analysis mineralization characteristics and prospecting factors of Huashugou gold metallogenic,and discuss the gold metallogenic geological conditions and mineral deposit genesis from aspects of tectonic and volcanic activity.Finally it point out that the structure closed to NW,NE is the most important prospecting area,especially paying attention to the quartz vein and quartz porphyry vein along with the instrusion of the faulting activities.In this way,it points the key area of prospecting.
