Abstract

The United States kept adjusting its policies towards the Communist Party of China to its own strategic needs ,such as regarding China first as a comrade worthy of assistance but later as an object of suppression in attempts to blocking China on her way to victory and later preventing China becoming a vassal of the Soviet Union. The adjustment of policies was closely linked to the making of its first strategic diplomatic policy towards New China.
