Abstract

It is now known that there are 241 species of plants in Wangjiagou basin, which belongs to 147 genera of 45 families.Among them there are about 1 family,1 genera,2 species in Pteridophyte and 2 families,6 genera,7 species in Gymnospermae and 42 families,140 genera,232 species in Angiospermae(39 families,107 genera,182 species in Dicotyledoneae and 3 families,33 genera,50 species in Monocotyledoneae). The herb has an advantage in the composition of life form of plants. The small families and genera and single genera have a larger quantity than the big ones.Analysis based on families and genera shows that floristic elements in the region are diversified, among which Cosmopolitan(accounting for 51.11% in total families) is dominant in the families;and temperate floristic elements(accounting for 51.02% in total genera) is dominant in genera,in which North temperate elements is the largest among the genera, which reflects the temperate characteristics of floristic elements in the basin.
