Abstract
The area of Pamirs is about 30000 km2 where there are 963 species of seed plant belong to 59 families and 303 genera,3 families 3 genera 12 species of gymnosperm,56 families 300 genera 951 species of angiosperm.The floistic characteristics of genera are summarized as follows:1) The ratio of single-species and minor-species genera is very high, the polarization of genera is intensity,the composition of floristic is complex.2)Analysis of the genera distribution pattern demonstrated that they mainly consist of north temperate elements,except 13 genera which belong tropical to distribution to temperate,and only a few species of them were found in this area.3) The flora of the area is young and derivative.4)The species obtained the adaptive characters to resist the frigidity and the aridity under selection of the altiplano ecological factors.
