Analysis of the Academic Influence of Chinese Academic Institutions in Information Science and Library Science Based on SSCI

Abstract

Based on Social Science Citation Index( SSCI) database in the Web of Science( Wo S) database platform,by using the bibliometric method,this paper made statistical analysis of the academic papers( including original articles and reviews) published by Chinese academic institutions in the field of Information Science and Library Science during the period from 2004 to 2014,then analyzed and assessed the the international academic influences of institutions according to the number of published papers,citation frequencies of the papers,h- index and international cooperation.
