Abstract
Flocculation-Fenton reagent oxidation process was applied to treat the emulsified wastewater generated from a machine warks. The factors affecting the removal rate of COD were studied. The experiment results showed that: PAC(w%=5%) was used as flocculent with the optimum dosage of 1.5 mL/L(wastewater),the COD removal rate reached 29.6% after flocculation;the optimum operating conditions of Fenton reagent were: n(H2O2):n(Fe2+)=5:1,m(H2O2):m(COD)=2.5:1,wastewater pH=5,temperature 30 ℃,reaction time=2 h and 78.5% of the COD was removed after the oxidation. After the treatment of flocculation-Fenton reagent oxidation,84.9% of the total COD was removed.
