Abstract
Fenton process was employed to treat the printing-ink wastewater. The effects of FeSO4 concentration,H2O2 concentration, initial pH,reaction time and initial COD of wastewater on residual COD of the wastewater were investigated, and the optimized operation condition was determined. The experimental results showed that the optimum FeSO4 concentration and initial pH were 800 mg/L and 2.5 respectively.Under the conditions with H2O2 concentration of 800 mg/L and the reaction time of 180 min,the lowest residual COD of the wastewater was obtained. After Fenton's reagent treatment, the wastewater with 876 mg/L of initial COD could meet effluent standard.
