Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Sanjie Zhentong Capsule in treating endometriosis following laparoscopic operation. Methods Ninety-seven subjects were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 52 cases were treated by Sanjie Zhentong Capsule and control group in which 45 cases were treated by Gestrinone Capsules, with a course of six months. The clinical efficacy, side effects and relapse rate were observed in the two groups. Results The total effective rate was 90.38% in the treatment group and 73.33% in the control group, with a difference between the two groups(P0.05); the side effects and relapse rate were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion Sanjie Zhentong Caosule is effective to improve the clinical efficacy in treating endometriosis following laparoscopic operation, and to reduce side effects and relapse.
