Abstract

This paper introduces the transformation from heterogeneous data to GML files and proposes a common GML application schema and the annotation model of GML.Then this paper realizes the GIS functions of SVG images in practice and proposes a new WebGIS solution to use GML to transfer and storage geographic information and to use SVG to view the geographic information.
