Abstract

Root canal treatment(RCT) is effective in the management of pulp diseases and periapex diseases.A great number of works have been conducted on the relationship between RCT and the fracture resistance of tooth root.This article reviews the effects of endodontic access cavity preparation,root canal preparation,root canal irrigation,root canal obturation and endodontic access cavity restoration on the fracture resistance of tooth root.
