Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of arthroscopic assisted locking compression plate in the treatment of complex tibial plateau fractures. Methods From January 2009 to October 2011,21 patients with complex tibial plateau fracture were treated by Arthroscopy assisted operation. There were 1 3 male cases,8 female cases, with a mean age of( 4 2. 5 ± 7. 2) years old. According to Schazker classification, there were 14 type Ⅴ,7 type Ⅵ. We used medial and lateral knee approach and one or two locking compression plate( LCP) for for these fractures. Results 20 cases were followed up for 6 ~ 18 months( mean 12 months). All the fractures were healed within 4 ~ 6 months. According to the Rasmussen scoring system, the outcome was excellent in 14 cases, good in 5 and bad in 1 case. The good rate was 95%. Conclusion To complex tibial plateau fractures arthroscopic assisted operation combined with LCP characterized with good reduction, fast fracture healing, good joint function and less complications. And it is an effective method.
