Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the status of accommodation and refractive error development. To investigate the correlation between these factors. Methods:Refraction, accommodative amplitude, accommodative ease, and FCC tests were performed on 47 students(94 eyes). Results were analyzed with SPSS software. Results:The results showed that accommodative amplitude was significantly related to refractive error,r=0.377;P=0.004(P≤0.05). Results also showed that the accuracy of accommodation was significantly related to refractive error,r=-0.471;P=0.000(P≤0.05).Conclusion:Refractive error was significantly related to accommodative amplitude and accommodative lag while reading.
