Abstract
This article deals briefly with the basic concepts of state owned assets and the administration of them,outlines the definition of state owned assets and analyses the managerial problems in institutions of higher learning.It also points out that colleges and universities should attach importance to the management of the intangible assets in the new situation,and suggests some solutions to the better administration of the state owned assets.
