Abstract
[Objective] The study was to provide theoretical basis for identifying the resistance of rice varieties to rice bacterial blight.[Method] With 152 rice varieties as the tested materials, they were inoculated with rice bacterial blight by leaf-cutting inoculation and spray inoculation resp. Then the effects of inoculation methods on the disease-resistance identification of rice were researched.[Result] Except for high sensitive varieties, the disease status of rice inoculated by spray inoculation was lighter than that of rice inoculated by leaf-cutting inoculation. The resistance identifications of multiple varieties could be achieved by one spray inoculation. There was about 30 d from inoculation to investigation,it was enough for multiple infections of pathogens. But the essential key of spray inoculation was immediately binding of rice plant hill for 3 d since spray.[Conclusion] Spray inoculation could satisfy the technical demand of resistance identification of rice varieties and reduce workload greatly.
