Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of amlodipine and atorvastatin calcium in threatment of patients with hypertension and the impact on tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-6. Methods A total of 80 patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each of 40 cases, observation group was given amlodipine and atorvastatin calcium therapy, the control group was given amlodipine treatment groups, efficacy and TNF-α and IL-6 were compared before and after treatment in two groups. Results After 2 months of treatment, the total effective rate of observation group was 92.5%, significantly higher than the control group(92.5% vs 77.5%, P0.05). Observation group′s SBP, DBP, HR was significantly lower than the control group(P0.05).After treatment, the TNF-α, IL-6 level of observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P0.05). Conclusion Amlodipine and atorvastatin calcium in treatment of essential hypertension can improve efficacy, worthy of clinical application.
