Abstract

Objective: To explore the curative effect of amlodipine combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of hypertension with hyperlipidemia. Methods: Two hundred cases of patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia were enrolled in the study. The patients were randomly divided into observation group( 100 cases) and control group( 100 cases). Observation group was treated with amlodipine and atorvastatin in combination therapy, and control group of patients treated with amlodipine alone. The change of blood pressure was observed and the curative effect was compared between two groups.Meanwhile, the levels of LDL-C,HDL-C,TG,TC,ALT,serum creatinine, serum potassium and blood uric acid were compared between observation group and control group before and after treatment. Results: After treatment,The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group while incidence rate of untoward effect was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant between two groups( P 0. 05). Both systolic and diastolic pressures were significantly decreased in two groups after treatment, but the improvement was better in observation group( P 0. 05). After treatment,LDL-C,TG and TC levels in observation group were decreased while HDL-C level increased, and these changes of blood lipid levels were significantly better than those of control group( P 0. 05). Compared with control group, the level of serum creatinine and blood uric acid in observation group after treatment were significantly decreased( P 0. 05). Conclusion: The curative effect of amlodipine combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of hypertension with hyperlipidemia is better than amlodipine alone.
