Study on the Gymnastics Course of Physical Education Speciality in Institute of Physical Education of China

By using the methods of literature consultation and statistical analysis,and taking gymnastics course curriculum of the seven Physical Education Institutes and five P.E.institutes and departments of universities as the objects to study its present situation and development process.The paper put forward that gymnastics course in physical education specialties should have innovation thought,expand training target of gymnastics course,set up the content system which should be suitable for quality education,and develop its pluralistic function.
