How Can a "Merging" Be Enough——Discussion on Su Shi's Respect for Confucianism,Fondness for Taoism and Merging Buddhism

Abstract
It is well-known that Su Shi jumbled together Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism,among which Confucianism is the dominant one.However,how his theory is formed and changed is of different opinions.Before relegation to Huizhou,Su Shi experienced 3 essential terms of criticizing Buddhism,fancying for Taoism and merging Buddhism in his childhood in Fengxiang and Huangzhou.He studied both Buddhism and Taoism,and majored in Confucianism.Relegation to Huizhou is the turning point of his theory's development.Buddhism and Taoism deepened in his theory and self-culture became dominant,while studying Confucianism became minor.He was unrestrained and still had a mercy heart.
