The term of was derived from the west literature theory,and then grew up in Chinese literatus.With different cultural contexts,cultural poetics makes a great difference in theoretical meaning.It takes 30 years that Cultural Poetics has developed in China from a dime conception to the designation as it is,and from the define of the subject to the establishment of the theory and the practice of the criticism prevailingly.The paper suggests tracing the development of this new dimension,and revealing the status quo in both western and Chinese literatus,which would contribute to initiating a new pattern of the literary theory,and also offering references and methods to the critics of cultural poetics.
